We made history last night. Together, we did the unthinkable.
So today I want to say thank you. Thank you to my family for your unwavering support. Thank you to my campaign staff and volunteers. Without the army of volunteers, we would not have been able to seize the moment. Thank you to all of my supporters for standing with me in our fight to put our South Mississippi values back in Washington. Thank you for believing in me and thank you for trusting in me. I will not let you down.
The battle we have won, but the war continues on. I will continue to defend Mississippi from from job-killing policies and higher taxes. I will fight for job creation, and less government spending. The promises I made throughout my campaign will not change. I will be the voice for South Mississippi in Washington that you have asked me to be. We have many challenges ahead of us. We will meet these challenges, and we will move Mississippi forward, together.
Thank you again for all of your hard work and prayers. We did this together, and together we will get South Mississippi back on the right track. I will be your Congressman, and I’m looking forward to staying in touch in towns and communities throughout the 4th District.
